La Badoussie

The house met our needs perfectly. It was very spacious, well-equipped and comfortable. There was nothing more that we would have wanted. The view from the house across the hills was serene and some beautiful villages and river scenery were nearby. The pool was of a good size and there was plenty of shade. We had an idyllic week.

We enjoyed a fabulous week at La Badoussie in late August. The location, house, pool and facilities are first class with spectacular views, including the occasional hot air ballon, across the beautiful rolling French countryside. Perfect house for a family holiday and we will be visiting again. Colleen could not have been more helpful and all expectations were exceeded. One of the best Sawday’s places we have stayed at.

We could not have picked better accommodation for celebrating several family occasions - La Badoussie is very comfortable, with everything you could wish for provided to the highest standard. The pool is fabulous and was much enjoyed by all the family ,particularly our grandchildren, but meals on the terrace provided a splendid end to the day with the beautiful views and opportunity to appreciate starlit skies. The morning trip to the boulangerie was not onerous and Daglan is a delightful local centre , whilst other sites are not too distant .

La Badoussie is an extremely well appointed and comfortable, well arranged accommodation for 10. All bedrooms en suite and lots of space. Beautiful views and great swimming pool. Children enjoyed the table tennis, badminton and boule too. Good location for exploring the Dordogne.

A beautiful house in an outstanding location, perfect for visiting the wonderful region of The Dordogne. Many attractions within easy reach, as well as great markets/supermarkets to stock up on essentials. The house itself is very well equipped, clean and comfortable. The heated pool makes a real difference. Owners are excellent with regard to arrangements. Couldn’t ask for better. Damage/security deposit seemed a little expensive, but was returned very promptly. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend staying here and hope to revisit soon.
