The Experience
Mornings are a pleasure here – gather around the big wooden table with fellow guests and plan your day over homemade crêpes, cheese, charcuterie and an endless supply of coffee.
Explore Paimpol, watch bobbing fishing boats, get lost in the maze of streets and sample the local delicacy of Coco de Paimpol. After hunger has been satisfied head to Guilben and walk through the woods of Abbey de Beauport – the views out to sea are magnificent.
Restaurants are a ten-minute drive – ask Isabelle which ones promise perfect oysters and cracking wine lists. An evening in promises a gastronomical delight too – book ahead for one of Isabelle’s sumptuous cook-ups. Expect local lobster, lamb, oysters and seasonal vegetables. After a day immersing yourself in French culture the comfortable bedrooms are all you need – one has its own terrace.

A delightful stay in Le Cottage, which was comfortable and well equipped, with its own terrace. Isabelle and Philippe are marvellous hosts, friendly but not intrusive. They have done a fabulous job converting the building, and a fifth room is the next project. Isabelle’s Table d’hôte is of an exceptionally high standard, and includes apéro, wine and a digestif. Ingredients all locally sourced. Close to brilliant walks, and we recommend the château de Roche-Jagu for the setting and gardens. We can’t recommend Keroaz Maner highly enough.

We had an unforgettable stay in this sublime and peaceful place. From the moment we arrived, Isabelle and Philippe warmly welcomed us. They took great care of us throughout our stay. The room was impeccably clean with special attention to details that make a difference. Breakfast was delicious and varied, with a new dish each day specially prepared by our host, a true delight to start the day. They were excellent guides, advising us on places to visit nearby that we might not have found on our own. A lovely couple who made our stay special. We will definitely return.

We spent 3 nights at Kegroaz Maner, being looked after beautifully by Isabelle & Philippe, who are marvellous hosts. We also had the benefits of enjoying Isabelle's 5* dinners - she is truly a magician in the kitchen (ably assisted by Philippe) and her cooking is worthy of several Michelin stars. The Maner is calm and tranquil, and our room (the Cottage) had the benefit of its own courtyard garden. I can't recommend it highly enough.

This historic home is tucked away on the edge of a countryside village yet just three miles away from charming, bustling Paimpol. Roam the maze of old streets, deli-hop and dream Breton dreams. Ask a local for a folk tale or sea shanty - the town is rich in history. For nature lovers, there's many a hiking trail and keen fisherfolk can try for trout and salmon nearby.

- Paimpol: the city of Icelanders with its galleries and art workshops, its famous international festival of sea songs (unique event not to be missed).
- The Abbey of Beauport and its gardens facing the sea facing the inevitable island of Bréhat, the castle of La Roche Jagu which dominates the river Trieux...

Introducing
Isabelle Leger
Isabelle's welcome is as big as her smile. A long-held dream to open a B&B, the care and attention in restoring this 17th-century property is clear from the moment you arrive, with log fires in both sitting rooms and deep sofas. Isabelle and her partner Philippe are on hand to share hiking trails, fishing spots and their favourite restaurants.
Comfortable and quiet. Lovely hosts who were really helpful. Great breakfasts and table d’hote dinner on the terrace.
