The Experience
Three light and airy gîtes that could have stepped straight out of the pages of a beautiful homes magazine. Originally a 1789 U-shaped farmhouse, the exteriors are built from an attractive pink granite – you’re not far from the Côte de Granit Rose after all – while inside is a contemporary delight with elegant antique pieces adding charm.
Craft feasts in the smart kitchens (or pre-order a delicious continental breakfast delivered to your doorstep in a basket), lather up in spoiling shower and bathrooms, sleep in linen-dressed bedrooms under the eaves. You’ll also find books to read, heaps of TV channels and super speedy WiFi. Book yoga sessions or massages at an extra charge.
Stroll five minutes down the quiet lane to the beach where there’s a local brasserie with views and a popular crêperie. Glorious coastal walks start from the door; there are abbeys, cathedrals, gardens and authentic villages to discover. Return to your pretty private garden for a sundowner and a barbecue.

- Walking the wild and dramatic Côtes-d'Armor coastline
- Booking a complimentary 'Nordic bath' experience – it's similar to a wood-fired hot tub
- Enjoying the fresh flowers and homemade treats on arrival – perhaps madeleines, jam or a bottle of Breton cider

Location
The neighbourhood
You're on the northwest coast of Brittany and less than an hour and a half from the ferry in Roscoff. With a car the region is yours to explore; a few highlights include browsing local markets groaning with fresh ingredients, exploring the Côte de Granit Rose (one hour), visiting vibrant Rennes (one hour 30) and taking pictures of Insta-worthy Mont-Saint-Michel (one hour 40).
Local points of interest from Simon Le Moullec
- Early in the morning, we love walking to the large beach at Le Palus, walking our dog, watching the sun rise over the bay and drinking a little coffee at ‘Chez Paulette’. It's a great start to the day!
- When we have family get-togethers, we always book a big table at the ‘Char a Banc’. It's a local institution where you can still enjoy Breton potée cooked over a wood fire in the traditional fireplace. A must-try!
- In spring or autumn, far from the crowds of the high season, the famous Island of Bréhat reveals its secrets. It's always an immense pleasure and a source of inner joy to walk its wild paths.
- Every year in April and October, in the majestic courtyard of the Château de Treveneuc there is La Fête des Plantes. Old varieties, artisans, original roses, you'll find everything you need to bring flowers back home.
- Every Wednesday, all year round, the Plouha market unfolds, just 3km from our house. Fresh fish, delicious oysters, St Jacques, roast pigs, and the freshest fruit and vegetables, this market is a treat for everyone.

Introducing
Simon Le Moullec
Simon, Adeline, their two daughters and Alfonse the Australian Shepherd toured Europe in a camper van in 2022 before settling in Kerégal. Simon grew up in Brittany so knows the region and can advise.
Kerégal is a unique spot right by the sea, in gorgeous grounds that invite you to relax listening to birdsong. The gîtes are bright, luxurious and chic with a rustic flair, and beautifully maintained. You'll feel like you're in an Enid Blyton tale as you follow the lane to the beach, carrying your picnic and beach gear. An idyllic, welcoming hideaway between coast and countryside.
