La Binellerie Gites

A lovely place to stay in Brittany. Sue and Steve gave us a warm welcome and are fantastic hosts. We will come back.

We had a wonderful time staying at the stunning Le Gite de Jardin, and it was all very relaxing. It was in a perfect location where we visited some lovely places nearby all round. The gite had everything we needed. Trishy and Steve

We recently stayed in Gentilhommiere for one week. I'm happy to say we had a fabulous holiday in this superbly renovated and beautifully furnished home. Sue & Steve have created a wonderful place to 'be & relax' as well as a base to explore the region. We particularly enjoyed sitting in the garden listening to the birds and watching occasional visits by the local wildlife. The home is very well equipped and Sue & Steves eye for detail impressive. We have stayed in a number of Sawday's properties and this is amongst the very best.

We spent a wonderful week in La Gite de Jardin in early June. The apartment is beautifully appointed and has every facility you could possibly need. We particularly enjoyed eating all our meals outside at the table under cover but open to the secluded garden. The location is in a very private courtyard and you could see nobody all week if you choose, but you will want to talk to Sue and Steve who will help and advise in a very relaxed way. It’s midway between Dinan and St. Malo and therefore there are loads of things to do and see without travelling very far. You won’t be disappointed.

We stayed in Gentilhommiere for 1 week with my sister and her husband, we were absolutely delighted when we arrived at this beautiful Gite. The house has been lovingly restored by an amazing craftsman, Steve, and the quality of soft furnishings, furniture etc. are first class. Sue and Steve are wonderful hosts giving lots of advice on places to visit and good places to eat. The welcome basket was a lovely surprise and surpassed any we have ever had before. The area is very picturesque with plenty of interesting towns within easy driving distance. The very best of self catering accommodation

Just arrived home from a wonderful stay in Brittany, La Gite de Jardin . We certainly found a gem the restoration of the old buildings was very special, a high quality of workmanship and love has been put into bringing these buildings back to life! They are superb and exceptionally well equipped, we wished we could have stayed longer but certainly hope to return very soon! Thank you Steve and Sue for your superb hospitality

We can truly say our stay at La Binellerie felt like home from home. Everything has been so well thought through and our house was exceptionally comfortable with all you could possibly need. The gardens surrounding the property were beautiful and even provided us with the lovely sight of a deer sauntering across the lawn. Although the weather wasn't particularly kind there were certainly plenty of places to visit in the surrounding area. The owners Steve and Sue were most welcoming, helpful and delightful to talk to.

Spacious and well equipped. The best gîte we have stayed in, friendly owners and nothing too much trouble.

This gite has absolutely everything anyone would need for a relaxing holiday. The attention to detail is second to none. The garden is an added bonus for both sun lovers and those who seek the shade. Really peaceful and ideally situated for exploring the area. Hosts are most welcoming.

What a gem of a place to stay. This is a beautifully restored cottage with a lovely garden. Our hosts had thought of everything to make our stay as comfortable as possible including a well filled welcome basket. The gite was ideally situated with so many sites to visit in the locality that we were spoilt for choice.

Another lovely week at La Binellerie (Gite de Jardin). This place has everything you could wish for: a comfortable and tastefully decorated gite, great hosts and amazing places to visit within a short driving distance. It doesn’t get any better in France!

The house was lovely. Spacious and airy. Not at all like a cottage - more a mini-mansion ! Hosts are very helpful and enthusiastic for guests to enjoy their stay. Kitchen well equipped and local supermarkets have wonderful food - the fish available at SuperU is memorable. We ate in every evening since we had hotel stays on the journey. Lots to visit in the area although the towns are a little challenging to park in. The chateau and zoo nearby 'La Bourbansais' will delight children. A car is essential.

Lovely house beautifully restored by Sue and Steve, who could not have been more helpful as hosts. The garden is great for children and everything we needed was provided from kitchen equipment to a fully functioning BBQ to the welcome basket! The location is perfect for exploring the beaches and historic towns of this part of Brittany and the local village of Chateauneuf-d'Ille-et-Vilaine is very handy for supplies. Can't wait to stay there again!

A beautiful house with so much character. We had a fantastic week at La Binellerie. The house is well equipped and the large safe garden was great for the children. Lovely area of Brittany very close to beaches and St Malo. Would love to visit again.

The house for four people was delightful and full of the character you would expect from such an old building. It was extremely well equipped and comfortable. All the descriptions were very accurate. The large downstairs room stayed wonderfully cool during a very hot week and was an oasis of calm. We used the house as a base for cycling in each direction and managed to park the car for the whole week.

We spent a very happy week at La Binellerie. The gite is exceptionally well equipped and very comfortable. The private outdoor space is lovely, with seats set out at various points in the garden. Everything is very clean and well maintained. Its location is perfect for visits to Dinan, St Malo, Dinard etc and we ate the best oysters ever at Cancale!

We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the comfort and the atmosphere of the house and garden. All in the house was perfect. The place is ideal for visiting a lot of attractions in Britany or just enjoying the closest beach. We would like to come again. Bea & Hansjörg

We thoroughly enjoyed a wonderful week in Gite de Jardin. La Binellerie is the perfect location for visiting the many pretty Breton villages as well as the feudal city of Dinan & St Malo that are all within a short drive. We felt very comfortable in the Gite de Jardin that that has a lovely contemporary feel & so well equipped. Steve’s impressive wood work throughout the gite outstanding & beautiful. We indulged our selves with excellent with the French cuisine from the many nearby restaurants! The holiday ticked all the boxes & we have rebooked for 2022. Thank you to both Sue & Steve.
