Location
The neighbourhood
Local points of interest from Pierre-Emmanuel Poujardieu
- Colette and RozVen Discover the landscapes that inspired Colette’s The Ripening Seed: La Touesse beach, Le Meinga, the dunes, rocks and great tides. RozVen was her Breton retreat from 1910 to 1926.
- The Emerald Coast and the GR34 Walk directly from the house onto the beach and the GR34 coastal path. Follow the cliffs, hidden coves and headlands towards Cancale or Saint-Malo, surrounded by changing light and sea views.
- Saint-Malo and Cancale Explore the walled city of Saint-Malo, its privateers and maritime history, then visit Cancale for its harbour, oyster farms, markets and exceptional seafood. Both are only a short drive away.
- Mont-Saint-Michel, Dinan and Saint-Suliac Visit Mont-Saint-Michel, the medieval streets of Dinan and the beautiful riverside village of Saint-Suliac. Within an hour of RozVen, a thousand years of Breton history are waiting to be explored.
- Chefs, markets and local producers Meet oyster farmers, fishermen, market gardeners, bakers and cheesemakers. Discover the region through its chefs, markets and products: oysters, lobster, Bordier butter, strawberries, cider and spices.
- A protected natural landscape RozVen lies within a protected coastal environment and Natura 2000 area. Explore dunes, coastal woodland, wild orchids and rich birdlife. The estate is an LPO Refuge with around 40 recorded bird species.
