The Experience
You’re a stroll away from the beach so forget what time (or day) it is and enjoy. The shore is safe for little ones; the whole family will be happy. When you’re done paddling in the ocean, relax on the veranda watching sailboats and feeling content. Or Tricia and Daniel’s favourite restaurant l’Epuisette is a three-minute drive away – order the dish of the day.
The area is littered with cycle paths and most people are on two wheels, so join them – bicycles can be hired nearby. BBQ on the terrace or gather the cooks to spread out in the kitchen – there’s plenty of space and the cupboards are stocked with the basics. The three bedrooms share two bathrooms and there’s a separate extra loo.
Thursday and Saturdays herald local markets brimming with seasonal food. Keep your eyes peeled for oyster vendors in the main square – they don’t get much fresher. Downtime comes in the form of ping-pong on the terrace or deep sofas in the bright living room. Kick back and sup on the complimentary bottle of wine.

Location
The neighbourhood
Set off from the house in either direction, both will delight. Explore the rocky peninsula on foot or by bike - there's plenty of opportunities to pause at a bar or cafe on the route. Vannes is just 40 minutes away, visit and walk the medieval ramparts; a perfect day trip. From Quiberon take the boat to Belle Ile - the walk along La Côte Sauvage (wild coast) is a must.
Local points of interest from Tricia Michel
- Our garden is enclosed with gates.
- Great family brasserie, l’Epuisette, just a few minutes walk from the house.
- The beach is accessible via the side gate in the garden and a pathway leading to the beach.
- Consider out of season holidays with your dog. The beaches are restricted in the summer period but the beaches are perfect for coastal walks with your furry companion.

Introducing
Tricia Michel
Tricia is a lover of art and literature - her apartment and house are peppered with paintings from local artists, antiques from her travels and the bookshelves are crammed. You'll feel more than at home here and she will gladly give restaurant and walking recommendations and suggest where to enjoy your daily aperitif.
A lovely house in a beautiful location. Just a minute walk to a lovely sandy beach which was surprisingly quiet! Very family friendly with lots to do nearby, with many beaches, coastal walks, flat bike rides and boat trips to small islands. The house was well maintained and well equipped, and we had a great time. Tricia was very helpful with helping us to make plans in advance and on arrival. Lovely local restaurants too.
