- No dogs and it's not suitable for children under 5
You enter a long, high room with so much going on that you wonder what to
focus on: the sea-blue colours, the lofty ceiling, the super modern kitchen,
the colourful, dynamic artwork on the walls... Shall I sit at the unfussy
timber dining table? The dashing aluminium breakfast bar? The clean-cut
vintage sitting area? The house has been converted with strong, assured
taste - I loved this confident, un-chintzy style.

Sawday's Inspector
Fleurdilly is a stunning property in the beautiful French market town of Pézenas in the Languedoc. It has been stylishly restored in a modern style whilst respecting and in keeping with the original character. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and have air conditioning (as does the rest of the house) and blackout shutters which was very helpful as I stayed in July. The location is great – Pézenas has everything you need and a great market on Saturdays. it’s a short walk to the town centre but hidden behind gates which open onto a lovely oasis of peace and calm.
