The Experience
This is a quiet neighbourhood of smart villas, all screened from each other by trees on a secure estate. Downstairs, interiors are open-plan and airy with plenty of comforts: a beautiful sitting room separated from the dining area by a neat kitchen hub, games for adults and children, and an immense home cinema screen hiding behind an impressionist painting – there’s also a water vapour fireplace. Cooks will appreciate the generously equipped kitchen and you’ll find a considerable amount of useful groceries, plus a bar complete with drinks.
Bedrooms (one downstairs and four up, including a super children’s room) have gorgeous views, some to the sea, and five bathrooms sparkle. In summer you’ll be on the deep terrace, occupying a sunbed and enjoying the peace, floating in the serene pool (heated from April to October), having long lunches at the large table, firing up the state-of-the art barbecue.
Shops, restaurants and glorious beaches are just a short drive.

Location
The neighbourhood
Deauville is a masterpiece of Belle Époque architecture – strolling through the historic streets is a pleasure. The beach is wide and sandy and the famous boardwalk is a must-see – the whole place oozes style. There are horse races, polo matches, the casino and an annual film festival as well as some very smart restaurants and shops. Trouville, quieter and more arty, also has a wonderful beach.
Local points of interest from Aurélie & Antony
- Deauville-Trouville offers an elegant seaside escape: the iconic Planches boardwalk, wide sandy beach, stylish boutiques, excellent restaurants, casinos, an authentic fishing port, and Les Franciscaines, a superb cultural venue.

- The Pays d'Auge features rolling countryside, hedgerows, charming villages, cider orchards, calvados distilleries and exceptional local cheeses. A perfect blend of preserved landscapes and authentic flavours.
- The D-Day landing beaches, a key place of British memory: Omaha, Gold and Sword Beaches, the Pointe du Hoc, the American Cemetery, La Cambe... A deeply moving journey through the major sites of 6 June 1944.
- Caen, with its Memorial and William the Conqueror's castle, immerses visitors in Norman history. Nearby Bayeux is home to the world-famous Bayeux Tapestry, a UNESCO-listed medieval masterpiece.
