La Bastide des Amandiers - Le Cabanon

Another wonderful two week stay, thank you very much Franck and Guylaine. This is our third visit to Rognes and we loved every minute of it, a real home from home. The gite and its setting is idyllic. The two bedroom gite is equipped with everything you need. The gardens at the house are also perfect for relaxing in with an aperitif before dinner! The swimming pool is great for cooling off in late afternoon . The location of the gite is great, well placed near to many hillside towns and villages. A real must stay gite. An absolutely lovely place for a quiet, relaxing holiday. We have been many times and visit every year. The owners are very helpful and friendly and the gite is beautiful. The surrounding area is fantastic with some spectacular places to visit.

Guilayne and Frank are the perfect hosts!!! They are discrete and very helpful and recommend you many places. We rented the Annexe but due to availability, we we moved to The Cabbanon. The gite is beautiful, spacious and calm. The terrace is perfect to relax. Insist you can find everything you need. The garden and the pool are gorgeous even if we couldn't use the pool. La Bastide des Amandiers is close to many must places to visit in the surrounding urea. We would definitely come back again and recommend it to family and friends.

We stayed for our first week in the Annexe but due to availability we moved to the Loft for our second week. This gite is also beautifully and tastefully furnished and very well equipped with a nice high ceiling which gives the lounge/kitchen a very light and open feel. The view from the lounge window is lovely. The gite is very well located in a beautiful area with an easy drive to the Luberon and Aix en Provence, which is a must see. The walk up to the top of the hills behind the house is well worth the effort. Great gite, great location and very charming hosts - we shall be back.
