The Experience
From the house, garden and pool, views soar over magnificent Méthamis – you’re just a few steps away from open countryside walks and cycles in the Gorges de la Nesque from this pretty village house. Fuel up at breakfast, served outside on balmy days: homemade yogurt and granola, sourdough and pastries, fruit and cheese, eggs on request with smoked salmon or avocado. Afterwards you can head out for adventures, or hang around the pool area, taking a dip, snoozing on a lounger, thinking about maybe going for a walk.
The living/dining/bar area is open plan, beautifully designed and has room for reading a book, playing a board game, or helping yourself to hot drinks and more from the honesty bar. Bedrooms, one downstairs and four up, have large beds, spoiling linen, views to valley or village and good-sized bathrooms with Italian showers.
Markets, wine tasting and some excellent restaurants are all within reach, by bike or car.

Location
The neighbourhood
From the door you can just head off on many marked routes on foot or by bike. There is rock climbing nearby and the Luberon Valley is close; Murs is half an hour by car and Gordes 35 minutes. All the nearby villages have Provencal markets – Bédoin, 30 minutes, has one of the biggest on a Monday morning. Wine tasting is a must and there are many 'caves' near and far. Avignon is 45 minutes.
Local points of interest from Stefaan De Clercq
- Le Pavadou is a cyclist-friendly B&B near Mont Ventoux and the Gorges de la Nesque. It is a perfect base for road cyclists. We have a secure bike storage. We can provide sport-friendly breakfasts and packed lunch.
- Le Pavadou is located in a small village, surrounded by unspoiled nature on three sides. From Le Pavadou, you can step straight into the natural surroundings. The GR hiking trail between Grenoble and Fontaine de Vaucluse passes right by our doorstep.
- Le Pavadou, with its garden, terraces, and swimming pool, is an oasis of tranquillity. Everywhere you look, you enjoy spectacular views of the surrounding nature. The area is filled with vineyards, village markets, cosy restaurants, and more.
- In the village, there is an authentic café within walking distance, and a fantastic pop-up restaurant (June, July, and August) in our neighbours' garden, Sylvie and David's Resto '39.5, sous les tilleuls', a real must-visit.
- Every Monday evening, there is a market in our street, right in front of the café. It's a true event - the street fills with tables, and everyone comes together to eat and enjoy the spirit of Provence.
- Le Pavadou has a cosy dining area and lounge, as well as a fully equipped kitchen where cooking enthusiasts and chefs can really let their creativity run. All guests are welcome to use the kitchen.

Introducing
Stefaan De Clercq
Friendly Stefaan, who has owned a home in the village for years, is a civil engineer and has a company in Belgium which is now managed by somebody else so that he can concentrate on the B&B. His wife Tine still teaches in Belgium but visits often to help. Stefaan adores cooking and design and the B&B has long been his ambition.
