The Experience
There’s a gift of a view here: old Paris crookedly climbing to the Sacré Cœur. Your interesting, cultured, hosts, Isabelle and photographer Jacques, are well-travelled. Beautiful great tomes of Jacques’ images of Paris, Morocco and various exotic destinations fill an entire shelf and his framed photos mingle with good eclectic art in their drawing/dining room. Breakfast may be in here, or out on the flowery, suntrap balcony. Your big white bedroom off the landing has an independent entrance; find a modern, airy space filled with more photos and books, lamps and colourful rugs – all peaceful in its rooftop seclusion.

We spent 2 nights here while visiting Paris. Isabelle and Jacques are charming and made us so welcome, nothing was too much trouble. They helped us decide where to visit in Paris and our route on the Metro. Breakfast was superb, fresh fruit salad, croissants, wonderful cake and jams and no problem when we wanted a small lie in one morning. They are both extremely interesting, Jacques signing one of his books for us, he is a renowned French photographer.

Contemporary but cosy bolt-hole hidden behind an impressive entrance with pleasant walking distance from the metro. Fairly quiet local area with lots of interesting shops and restaurants. Guests have a separate entrance into a lovely bedroom and compact modern bathroom area. The apartment has fantastic views over Montmartre and Sacre Coeur. Isabelle and Jacques were hospitable, truly parisienne and very helpful. We couldn't praise too highly - can't wait to revisit.

Marvelous combination of cordiality, professionalism, and location. Isabel and Jacques could not have been more accommodating, especially with their recommendation of 'don't miss' sites and places to visit. We have visited Paris before, but this time we used this B&B as our nest from which we visited Rouen, Auvers sur Oise, and all touristy places in between. Wonderful private bedroom and large toilette and shower., which was much appreciated. Would highly recommend Cote Montmartre to those who wish to meet Parisiens and discover the real Paris. Marvelous experience.

We stayed for our honeymoon at Cote Monmatre in 2010. I have very belatedly come to write a review as it was such stand-out accommodation: refined, pared-back, warm and friendly. Breakfast on the balcony and wine with the lovely hosts remain embedded in my mind. The room was very chic too, and we appreciated having our own entrance from the stairway. Highly recommended.

Location
The neighbourhood
Local points of interest from Isabelle & Jacques Bravo
- Breakfast on the terrace looking out on the Sacre-Coeur in good weather.
- Our place is close to busy area like Montmatre and the opera but very quiet in our street. There are 3 Metro lines and buses which take you to various parisian spots.
- 3 minutes walking to South Pigalle , very trendy area with many authentic restaurants.Le Bouillon Pigalle, Le Dépanneur, Les Pinces, La Bonne Maison.....
- We are in a typical parisian building from the Haussmann period.

I has a wonderful stay with my daughter in this B&B. Isabelle and Jacques were perfect hosts. The sightseeing tips are better than You get from any guide book. breakfast is super, everything fresh and good quality. Room is big and nicely furnitured. Bathroom is also very fresh and clean. I would definately go back.
