Les Pasquiers

We recently stayed at Les Pasquiers with Marie, Guillaume, and their family, and couldn’t have received a warmer welcome. Their home is beautiful, tastefully decorated, and set in a charming village — conveniently close to the motorway yet still wonderfully peaceful and rural. Our room was lovely and very comfortable, but the highlight of our stay was the delicious meal that Marie prepared and shared with the whole family, which made for a truly memorable evening. Marie’s cooking is superb, and everything was absolutely delicious. We would highly recommend a stay and will definitely return.

Marie and her family are fabulous hosts. Staying here was a truly special experience, We were made to feel welcome in their beautiful home. The room we stayed in was perfect… a big room with a comfortable bed, and a lovely en-suite. We shared a meal with another couple and Marie provided delicious food, wine and added to the great conversations. We all went out after our meal to see the new hens brought back by Guillame and the young people…. Sharing a family moment! I highly recommend staying at Les Pasquiers if you get the chance.

We stayed at this lovely house enroute to Italy. Marylene gave us such a lovely warm welcome and we instantly felt we had arrived somewhere special. We had a very comfortable room and after a swim in the pool enjoyed a delicious supper in the garden with family and other guests. We would certainly like to stay again in the future. What a fantastic stay in this impressive large country house in Lance. a delightful evening meal was provided by Marie during this memorable visit to this charming village close to Fleurie. Marie provided us with a locally inspired 3 course meal with local wines which we loved. Accommodation was spacious warm and very well presented. Our small dog enjoyed the grounds and he was made to feel as welcomed as we were. We will not hesitate in making this a favored stop on our way to Spain in future.

Marie and Guillaume are the quintessential hosts offering quests the benefits of a beautifully renovated manor house in a small Beaujolais village. Marie is imaginative, energetic, and animated as she recommends the best local restaurants and picturesque drives through the many Beaujolais villages. She enthusiastically talks about local history, the renovation of the house and grounds, music (she is accomplished on the piano), food and cooking, her vegetable garden and her chickens. A perfect spot to relax and tour the area.
