Le Petit Nid

Arrived after a tiring day and sat down to a divine meal cooked by Sarah, so good in fact we arranged 3 more. Sarah is a qualified cordon bleu chef and a charming hostess. We spent a week doing some serious hiking (coming home to cordon bleu meals) and combined this with lazy days at the lake. Sarah and Sebastian are charming hosts, fantastic cooks. Le Petit Nid seems the perfect place to tackle some of the Tour de France Cols, (we didn't have our bikes) but Sarah and Sebastian provided us with a wealth of info on hiking trails. Really a great week, made extra special by Sarah's meals.

We stayed for two weeks at Le Petit Nid. The chalet was very clean, comfortable and well equipped. It is spacious yet homely, with a good selection of books to fill any spare time. The owner, Sarah Gill, is particularly helpful with local recommendations of places to visit and restaurants at which to eat. We particularly liked the recommendation in Italy! A graduate of the Cordon Bleu school in Paris, Sarah offers to cook cordon bleu meals at a very reasonable price. We thoroughly recommend that guests take her up. The food is truly excellent & great value, served in relaxed surroundings

Large ancient stone house refurbished and maintained to 5 star standard. Perfect location for exploring the French Alps and conveniently close to quaint villages. All amenities provided by an owner dedicated to providing the best holiday experience possible to her guests. A unique property which will delight and amaze anyone lucky enough to be able to stay here at any time of the year. A real gem!

We had a wonderful stay. Everythig here is first class. A warm welcome, a beautifully presented property in every way. Sarah cooked delicious suppers, as we relaxed with an aperatif by a cosy fire. We felt very spoiled. We will definitly return.
