The Experience

Built in 1968 and designed by architect Saul Bravetti, the exterior of the building is certainly striking. Interiors are merrily vintage and rooms are filled with carefully chosen furniture, some fine mid-century pieces and the original ceramic floors. There are plenty of places to relax, work, or enjoy a coffee: a charming café corner, a small library, a guest lounge and two covered terraces.

Bedrooms come in different sizes, some with a balcony and two with private terraces, but all with crisp white cotton sheets, framed vintage newspaper covers and sparkling bathrooms. Wake to sumptuous breakfasts or sleep late and opt for brunch – all ingredients have zero kilometres and the piadina is home baked.

Set off to explore, stroll along the Porto Canale; visit independent shops selling fine linens, fabrics, cushions and ceramics. Buy food from local producers or dine smartly in well-renowned restaurants.
