This B&B is set on a 130-hectare estate producing renowned organic sparkling wines and balsamic vinegar, and is surrounded by lush vineyards, forest and rolling green hills; it’s also a popular wedding location.
A house in front of the estate’s historic villa has been renovated in modern country house style, with stylish bedrooms on the first and second floor. Breakfast is a buffet with seasonal local products: cheese, ham, yogurt, cake, marmalade and eggs prepared to order, served at separate tables.
Relax on the sofa in the guest living room, sit out by the swimming pool or go for walks through the woods and around the estate. You can eat at the on-site restaurant which opens in the spring 2021 – ask about cooking lessons – or drive to Michelin-starred restaurants: Cà Matilda, which has one Michelin star, is just five minutes’ drive away, the three-Michelin-starred Osteria Francescana ia a 40-minute drive, as is Parma. Motor Valley is an hour’s drive.
