Exactly as described and shown in pictures. Beautiful views and the sound of the lapping water was so relaxing..Savina was very helpful and friendly. Excellent base to explore all around lake Como. Would recommend!

A wonderful week in a beautiful setting! Fisherman’s House offers 3 apartments carefully looked after by the welcoming owner. We stayed in apartment 2 with a double and a twin bedroom, well equipped kitchen, and amazing views over Lake Como to Bellagio and Varenna from a pretty balcony. The pebble beach below is perfect after a hot day and we swam every day. Varenna is an easy flat 10 minute lakeside walk and there are good transport links within easy reach on foot. This is the perfect spot to enjoy everything on offer at Lake Como but with a quiet retreat at the end of the day. Loved it!

Another delightful stay in this beautiful, light filled, apartment directly on the shores of Lake Como a short walk to Varenna with its cafes and ferry to explore the other towns on the lake. The apartment is well equipped and Savina is a most gracious host. Fall asleep to the waves lapping on the beach below The view from the shower is amazing!

Savina is a delightful host. Her place is light filled, rustic and charming with beautiful views of the lake. The bed was very comfortable (I am quite fussy) and we had the best sleep ever. Varenna is a lovely, quaint village but parking is difficult so we were grateful to have use of Savina’s garage. It is a 15 minute walk to Varenna or 30 minutes on a flower filled woodland path. Savina communicated well with us before and during our stay. She is a warm person and always ready to help.
