Fisherman's House

This is a magical place with a stupendous panoramic view across the lake and mountains, which has to be seen to be believed. The balcony and windows get the sun all afternoon and face the evening sunsets. The apartment is really well equipped and is spacious and stylish with high ceilings and tall windows. There is also a beach directly below where you can swim in the lake or sit in the afternoon sun. Savina is a very warm welcoming and helpful efficient host. It is in a lovely quiet village with scenic walks and cycle routes nearby and a short walk to Varenna which is a beautiful town.

On entering the apartment we truly thought we were in paradise. The views, the peace. Words will never describe what the eye will see. So much to do, or so little! Fantastic walks, places to visit by ferry or train. A wonderful experience.

A real gem. If we travelled the world for the rest of our lives I’m not sure we’d ever find a view to rival that from the Fisherman’s House. It is quite simply idyllic. Savina was a joy to communicate with from the very first enquiry, promptly answered questions and helped us book some lovely restaurants. The apartment is in a great spot, had all we needed for a family week away and the little beach below was a favourite hang out for our 2 boys. We loved our time here and hope to return one day. The apartment is utterly wonderful. Savina is the perfect host - helpful but not intrusive. The views are beyond description. The little beach below is a delight and Varenna is only 15 mins walk. You can get ferry’s everywhere from Varenna dock and only need a car for the supermarket. The shower is great. The beds are comfy. The kitchen is well equipped. The decor is modern & chic. There’s nothing to not love. We’ll certainly be back.
