The Experience

You’re high up in the hills, surrounded by centuries-old olive trees and lush nature, but Cisternino is only two kilometres away. Interiors are smooth, light-filled and on several different levels. You can relax in a spacious sitting room with an L-shaped sofa and comfy armchairs, listen to music, or watch a film on the smart TV.

The open-plan kitchen is a happy space for cooks and has all you need for rustling up meals – you’ll also find all the basics like coffee, tea, oil and biscuits plus a welcome basket with local products. You eat at a large table indoors or al fresco on the veranda which also has a barbecue. Outdoor living is encouraged – the views are spectacular, the pool is inviting, the air is pure and there are two outdoor showers.

Bedrooms (one in the main building on a mezzanine, a double bed with a double bed over it downstairs, and another in a separate building with a kitchen) are simple and attractive with sparkling bathrooms.

Reviews

I would recommend Villa Apulia to anyone looking for a modern, well-equipped place to stay within easy reach of Puglia's most beautiful villages. You can relax by the beautiful infinity pool admiring the hilly landscape, the vineyards, the centuries-old olive trees, or prepare a barbecue on the veranda.

Location

The neighbourhood

Walk into Cisternino, the pearl of the Itria Valley, a charming place with small alleys, white buildings and pretty squares. Lose yourself in its narrow streets, visit some beautiful churches, breathe in the history. You'll also find plenty of bars, restaurants and shops for stocking up. Ostuni is 13km, known as the white city; it has a spectacular cathedral and lots of shops for souvenirs.

Local points of interest from Pascal

  • Stroll through the grounds in the vineyard and by the olive trees.
  • Visit the historical centre of Cisternino.
  • Spend a day at one of our local beaches such as Torre Canne.
  • Visit the white town of Ostuni.
  • Rent a bicycle and cycle around the narrow streets.
