The Experience
Lu Leccio, dating back to the 1600s, belongs to the Leccisi family. The style of these apartments and suites is minimal, elegant and with attention to detail. Each space has its own individual charm – some with modern polished concrete floors, others with the original floor tiles. Spread out over two levels – those on the second floor have their own private terrace and those on the ground floor access to the patio – all are light, bright and extremely comfortable.
Kitchens are new and functional with induction cookers, more than adequate for rustling up a breakfast or quick lunch, but you can book breakfast or dinner, served in your own suite or in a communal room on the ground floor – breakfasts of fruit, yogurts, fresh pastries, homemade cakes, eggs and dinner with a seasonally changing menu. You’re in walking distance of many cafés and restaurants.
Gaze at ancient rooftops on the magnificent terrace at sunset, feel Italian.

Location
The neighbourhood
Tours can be organised - a good idea if you don't know the city well. The Roman Amphitheatre stands out in the square Piazza Sant'Oronzo, the Castello Carlo V is wonderful and you can explore the city walls and the three gates to the old town: Porta Napoli, Porta Rudiae and Porta San Biagio. The Basilica di Santa Croce is stunning and there are unique natural landscapes outside the city.

Introducing
Roberto Leccisi
Roberto Leccisi is a young entrepreneur, very enterprising. After studying and working in finance in Rome, he decided to return to his homeland to bring income to his family's beautiful property. He lives in Lecce and likes to greet his guests when he can but you'll also meet Giovanni who is a fountain of good advice about the city, where to eat and what not to miss.
