The Experience

You’re looked after seamlessly in this charming family-friendly village hotel: swim in the sparkling pool, relax in the solarium, doze on a lounger or sit in the shade of the trees while the lake breeze ruffles the Tibetan wind chimes. Indoors you’ll find a cosy lounge, a library with board games and a bar area, all manned by devoted staff.

Bedrooms are spread across three floors and vary in size, but all are inspired by the natural beauty and spirit of the region and all have pristine en suite bathrooms. If you book the spa you’ll also get plush bathrobes and soft slippers. Breakfast is buffet style and served until late: eggs from their own hens, homemade jams, Alpine butter, pancakes, bacon and sausages. Picnic lunches can be ordered.

Borrow a bike or set off on foot to the lake, wander the sweet village, explore the ancient church, find a craft brewery and some excellent restaurants showing off authentic Ledro Valley cuisine.

Local points of interest from Francesca & Moreno

  • The Ponale trail is an icon of Garda Trentino, much loved by visitors and locals alike who never tire of the spectacular views it offers at every bend.
  • Gorg d'Abiss Waterfall.
  • The Val Concei naturalistic path surrounded by nature: the woods provide shade and coolness even in the hottest summer months, the fields and huts of Palò form bucolic and picturesque features in the scenery.
  • Ledro Land Art is an environmental art park immersed in the pine forest of Pur, one of the green lungs of the Ledro Valley, where artistic creativity blends with nature and the landscape becomes the custodian of site-specific interventions.
  • Foletto Museum is more than a display of old objects – it's a living story of healing, curiosity and care. A unique way to understand one of the many souls of the Ledro Valley.
  • Lake Ledro Pile-dwelling Museum: more than 10,000 poles emerged from the surface of the southern shore of the lake, testimony to one of the largest prehistoric settlements discovered in Italy until then, and still one of the biggest in Europe.
