Borgo Montefreddo

We had a wonderful stay in Casa Chianella at Montefreddo. The apartment is large and spotless with all the rooms beautifully appointed and the kitchen was very well equipped. Even had supplies for the first days. The pool looked stunning and invites you to spend a lazy day, relaxing, swimming and enjoying those spectacular views. Oliva is an incredible host, she thinks of everything! She gave us lots of suggestions of things to do and we also had a fun and informative guided tour of Siena with her. Thank you Olivia, we've fallen in love with Montefreddo and Tuscany and will be back!

I'm currently staying at Montefreddo, in Casa Chianella. I sincerely did not expect this place to be so marvellous. Pictures really do not give the idea of the immense beauty of this country estate secluded, yet so close to some of the most renewed areas. We have been here for only three days and we have already seen so much. Olivia, our host (and great cook!) is a local guide and she gave us any sort of information. We are actually planning a guided tour of Siena on Thursday with her, while today we spent the day driving through Val d'Orcia: remarkable. It was really the ideal day in Tuscany.

Beautifully appointed rooms in a stunning property in a magical corner of Tuscany.

My friends and I chose Montefreddo for our annual reunion. This enchanting "borgo" is set in a magic place with breath-taking views. Everybody has been very nice and helpful. The host has organized several activities including a cooking class, a guided tour in Siena (highly recommended), and early morning yoga class in the garden. We also very much enjoyed our lazy time by the panoramic pool. The apartment is very comfortable, elegant and the kitchen extremely well organized.

My friends and I had a dream holiday at Montefreddo. We stayed in both apartments and enjoined both of them. Olivia, our host, was the best. She organized an amazing welcome dinner and we also had cooking class one of the afternoon: we now are the best “pici” makers 😂! I really would recommend Montefreddo.
