La Serra

We can't recommend La Serra - and Chiara as host - highly enough. The breakfasts were delicious (and with allergies carefully catered for), the recommendations for food and art and walks and historic towns were brilliant, the conversation fascinating, and the room was beautifully furnished and so quiet - and all this with the jaw-dropping backdrop of the majestic Dolomites. We had a wonderful three days and will definitely be returning to La Serra and this special corner of Italy.

What a wonderful stay ! Our days at Chiara’s house have just a passed too quickly. We started our days with a lovely breakfast in the charming garden surrounded by the Dolomiti mountains , a real treat ! With the precious and special tips that Chiara was always ready to give us we had the opportunity to discover many little tresors . From Chiara’s house we could easily reach famous places such as Cortina , Belluno , Feltre but the most interesting tour was definitely at Canova’s house in Possagno : the Museum Gypsotheca was really impressive. Difficult to leave …..just hope to be back soon

Chiara's b&b is an oasis of peace. It's a return point for savouring food and high culture. Chiara is someone whose warm embrace makes you feel at home. You are a person who knows how to share thoughts and emotions in a place rich in history and peace.

The place is very pleasant and peaceful. The host, a person of great charm, is welcoming in a discreet but attentive and cared for way. You feel at home when everything is extraordinarily new. The house tells a story of distant worlds and makes a small wooden statue of a hand-carved Buddha, perched above the headboard of a bed, appear natural to you,. The books present everywhere invite you to browse. When you leave you already think of returning :-)

We were guests of this residence in mid-July thanks to the friend of the place who had organised a small excursion on foot. Well...it was a pleasant surprise for us to stay in a place so magical. Immersed in a small village two steps from the most beautiful walks, with two welcoming, contemporary rooms. You're blown away by the passion for architecture. Chiara is an available and discreet host, you feel really welcome. Compliments also to be made to the choice of bathroom textiles and toiletries. Top!!!

It was not my first time at La Serra: anytime a real pleasure, beyond expectations. Stunning location, in a beautiful alpine countryside, uncommon attention to any detail. And last but not least Chiara is a such an amazing host, you just want to book for the next time

I thought it would be a special place, but not to this extent! The welcome, the beauty of everything (from the small details in the house, to my bedroom, the plants and flowers in the garden) : I really felt at home there.

La Serra is Chiara amazing b&b: design, elegant accomodations, books everywhere and stunning view of the surrounding mountains. Breakfast is home made with a special choice of products and Chiara is a great host, welcoming and always generous with pertinent suggestions to explore the way of life around.

We stayed for two days in La Serra and we loved it. The location is perfect as you have a stunning view on the Dolomites and the village is sorrounded by nature. Chiara is amazing and she suggested us the best villages to visit in the sorrounding area as well as the best local food. The breakfast was amazing and far above our expectations due to the quality of the products carefully selected by Chiara herself.

It's no wonder this B&B is known for hosting yoga retreats and writers' workshops. It's impossible not to feel relaxed and inspired there. During 10 days in one of the master suites, we enjoyed reading and writing on the terrace, doing independent practice in the newly-created yoga room & dining in the garden. The area is ideal for long walks and bike rides on country roads, yet very near the town of Trichiana for restaurants, shops and services. We enjoyed day trips to Valdobbiadine, Strada di Prosecco, and Belluno. The host Chiara provides a warm welcome and loads of local information.

Chiara's lovely home represents a life of travel and a love for her roots with furnishings from her family, markets and other, each with a story. Enjoy a purely organic and 0km breakfast under the portico before hitting the road by foot or bike to explore this spectacularly scenic corner of Veneto under the guidance of your knowledgeable hostess. You will savour the silence, nature and authenticity.
