The Experience

You’re right at the centre of Venice’s bustling heart, just a couple of minutes’ walk from the Rialto Bridge, yet the palazzo guest rooms are both peaceful and elegant. Find antiques, Persian rugs, fridges, safes and silk kimonos. Sink into beds with memory foam mattresses and fine linen, en suite bathrooms are luxurious, tiled and modern; some have a bath and shower, one has a window.

Kind Barbara and Sunil look after you well with breakfasts of local pastries, jams and fruits. Eat either in your room or admire the view of the San Cassiano Church tower from the bright, high ceilinged breakfast room.

Step out onto Calle dei Botteri, a lively street lined with restaurants, stroll down labyrinthine alleyways interspersed with canals, your closest vaporetto stop is at the Rialto Mercato. Gawp at the epic grandeur all around: classic Venetian architecture, palazzi and churches, priceless marbles and awe-inspiring art at every turn.

Reviews

Guests will love the exceptional logistical convenience, central but quiet, the wide choice of sweet or savoury breakfasts, by the comfortable and spotless rooms, and mostly by the personalized attention of manager Barbara who happily guides guests to all the right places according to interest.

Nicole, Sawday's Inspector

While in Venice to see the Biennale, I stayed at this wonderful B&B which was such a splendid surprise! The room was decorated beautifully, the bed comfortable, the bathroom and the shower were a nice size and the breakfast was delicious. One of the highlights was Barbara, our concierge, who took care of us with grace and skill - making dinner reservations, guiding us on which exhibits to visit, tips on how to get around and just a delightful person. I would highly recommend this property!

Robin, Chicago

absolutely wonderful place with a generous welcome from Barbara and the team. Delicious breakfast, a wonderful room, which despite being 2 minutes walk from the Grand Canale and the fishmarket is very quiet. The information and advice went beyond excellent and every detail made our stay amazing. And that is before we stepped outside the door to see Venice itself!

  • We are two minutes from the famous fish market: a very interesting, ancient and picturesque site.
