The Experience

You’re in the heart of old Jerez, all tiny cobbled streets and citrus-tree’d squares, parasoled diners and waiters keeping up with the orders. Once inside the Palacio, the big old door closed behind you, peace descends. All feels elegant, timeless and cool. The noble Patio Andaluz, furnished with sofas, antiques and grand piano, is light and airy, the marble pillars and gargoyles have been beautifully restored, and if you long for the sun, check out the sunloungers on the enclosed roof terrace; there’s a lift to get you there. As for the apartments, they’ve been created from scratch – just the odd alcove or shutter remains. All are minimalist and practical, with fitted wardrobes and extra pillows, smart furniture on wood-floors. Find microwaves, nespresso machines, orange-squeezers and washing machines, air con and double glazing and bathrooms you cannot fault. Golf is a mile away, Puerto Santa Maria and its beaches is not much further – and all those famous bodegas. A delight to stock up daily in Jerez’s market, its jostling stalls piled high with huge ruby-red tuna and dazzling produce.

Reviews

Fisher, London

We stayed three nights and it couldn't have been better. The apartment was very well appointed with a balcony looking down on a pretty square with lemon trees where we ate our breakfast and had drinks in the evening. The staff were very helpful. Jerez is a delightful city full of interesting things to do.

Isobel, Near Holt

Excellent apartment very central to the main sites. The booking process was extremely efficient with good attention to detail. On arrival the housekeeper was very helpful. The apartment was spotlessly clean and spacious, and provided a very good base for our 3 nights stay in Jerez.Highly recommended and would certainly stay again.Thank you.

Julia, London

We stayed in a one bedroom apartment which was modern and easily accommodated the three of us (couple + 2 year old). The apartment block was smartly refurbished and perfectly situated in the centre of the old town of Jerez. The owner, Joanna, was exceptionally helpful and responsive, from providing cot, bedding and high chair for our daughter, to making numerous recommendations and reservations for us, bearing in mind a two year old's needs! We would not hesitate to recommend a stay at this place in a pleasant city.

Laura, Sherborne

Beautifully & simply decorated, comfortable & clean, with everything we needed for our stay. Great info & communication from Joanna before we arrived and warm welcome from Maria Eugenia on arrival. Very central location - we literally walked a few steps from the front door to Plaza Plateros, where there are plenty of lovely places to eat & drink, as well as Calle Consistorio just a bit further on. Being in the heart of the action does mean noise from the street below, but closed the windows & shutters helped and there is air con in each room. Great place, would definitely recommend.

Stuart

A lovely apartment right in the centre of Jerez and only 2 minutes walk to the main shopping area. The apartment has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Highly recommended. Can't fault it !
