The Experience

The problem with holidaying with young children is that few places answer your needs and theirs. This is different: Lorna and Lee’s 16-acre farm in the southern hills is a fabulous place for family holidays, or for couples wanting more privacy and taking both spaces together. The two purpose-built and simply styled cottages each have their own terrace, Netflix on the TVs, barbecue and great views.

The pool has a shallow area for kids, and toys, cots and baby gadgets galore, there’s a big suntrap terrace, a purpose-built play area, giant patio chess, table tennis and loads more. Join your thoughtful hosts for paella night once a week, and they are also happy to provide free babysitting for an evening during your stay, ferrying you to and from your chosen restaurant.

Lorna can do all sorts of relaxing beauty therapies; golf and fishing can be arranged nearby.

Reviews

I personally would want to enjoy this place with friends as a large group, but can see why it is just perfect for families. There is a genuine warmth and care shown by Lorna and real desire to ensure her guests have a great time. You don't often find owners offering to babysit and drive parents out for the evening. They know what parents need (a rest) as well as the kids (fun!).

Had a wonderful relaxing holiday in this chill-lax getaway from it all location. Good comfortable and clean accomodation with a pool just outside our door. Wonderful mountain views and seclusion. Lorna and Lee our host was on hand to advise around the best places to visit such as the lakes which was a short drive away and the beaches which took around 30 mins. Ideal for our extended family holiday with play area for our youngsters and a small bar for us just a couple of steps from our accommodation. We really enjoyed the evenings in a get-away-from it all location. Highly recommended

Second visit to this lovely, relaxing villa with our 3 boys. Everything as wonderful as we remember last year. Stunning views, relaxing pool and lovely days out at Ardales Lakes, Mijas and Ronda. Lorna and family always helpful, particularly keeping open the bar to watch the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Olympics, making it a great evening for our family and friends. Have already booked to return in 2013.
