The Experience
Wend your way from the east, if you have the leisure, along a wooded mountain road of dramatic drops and endless curves; Soller sprawls below, a cluster of pretty houses amid farmland and orange groves. It’s stunning, as is Andreu’s family estate: an eden of citrus, avocados, jacarandas, lilies, kumquats, a splashing fountain and swimming pool, fragrant lavender walks and secret corners… abandon yourself to the sensory overload. Enter the grand, honeyed stone house through a cobbled courtyard, discover a happy blend of pretty antiques and bright modern touches, and fresh flowers by Andreu’s mother. One suite is tucked amid the oranges; rooms in the main house are spacious, unfussy, with white-dressed beds and colourful sofas. Most have a terrace; this is a place for outdoor living. Walk among wild flowers in the Tramuntana foothills or take a tram to the port for the north coast’s coves and beaches. Soller’s Art Nouveau architecture and botanic gardens are worth a stroll; Palma is 20 minutes by train. Return to a warm welcome by the family, supper under the stars, and a deep country sleep.

Location
We are here staying at Cas Curial right now - our second time of visiting. I didn't think it possible that the last visit (in 2018) could be improved upon - but it is! The most beautiful of placea with the warmest of welcomes and the very best of accommodation and service. A little slice of heaven on earth and the opportunity for complete rest and relaxation
