Cooks will find plenty of space in the kitchen, sleek black granite units, top-notch pots and pans, a proper coffee machine and a distressed pine table with modern wicker chairs. From here, narrow stairs lead down to the second bedroom, compact and cosy, and the shared bathroom with heated black slate floor. A small door on this floor opens onto a lane and a little terrace garden with views across rooftops and a pretty shed for storing beach clutter. The coastal path runs through the village and there are good restaurants and pubs. Stylish, arty, fun.
