What a wonderful stay, probably our best B&B experience in the UK. Christine's attention to detail and organisation is fantastic, all done, in what appears to be an effortless manner. Nothing was too much trouble and the provision of "home from home" touches, such as a tray of tea in the lounge in front of a roaring fire made for the most relaxing and memorable afternoon and stay.

What a wonderful place! Host Christine greeted us with tea, biscuits, roaring log fire and Max the dog. Kitted me out with a very fetching boiler suit and lent us a map to go walking. Beautiful, peaceful property and very comfotable bed. We'll be back......

Excellent, our host Christine could not have done more, 10 out of 10. My wife and I were attending a function in nearby Sacriston. To be listed in Sawdays we knew this would be a nice place to stay but it truly was very good. All the nice small touches like ensuring my wife could have gluten free options. Comfortable bed and very quiet location. We went for a 5 mile walk in the afternoon and because of its location its easy to do this from the front door.. Amazing breakfast .Nearby Lanchester is nice too
