The Experience
Once up the winding drive you’ll find yourselves in expert hands – you’re encouraged to do absolutely nothing! The service is outstanding, bedrooms impeccable and the elevated British cuisine, turned out with care by head chef Mark Coleman, includes dishes you wouldn’t cook at home alongside some old favourites. Unwind in one of three sitting rooms, each with its own character and with interesting books to read.
Sip something from the extensive drinks menu, perhaps an ale from North Cotswold Brewery or an alcohol-free brew from Days Brewing. Sleep peacefully in gorgeous rooms – eight in the main house and eighteen in the courtyard stables. All have natural mat beds with deep toppers, Egyptian cotton linen and spoiling bathrooms with Verden soaps and lotions.
On balmy days you’ll be out on the terrace watching red kites hover, or playing lawn games. There are bikes to borrow and acres to explore, but hedonism is positively encouraged.
