The Experience
A wonderfully unspoilt place for a bucket-and-spade holiday, and terrific value too. A few steps lead down to a cheerful apartment on the ground floor of a Victorian seafront home with its own private entrance. The friendly owners and family are on hand should you need anything.
It’s all on one level so really easy for families with little ones, and you’ll find absolutely everything you might need, from cots and highchairs to changing mats and plastic plates. You’re across the road from the beach so pack up all your stuff and spend the day having watery fun or walk 10 minutes to the high street (pubs, shops) and the pier where you’ll find gourmet food.
A small courtyard back garden is yours (perfect for a barbecue on sunny evenings) and there’s a useful covered area by the front door for stowing wetsuits, bodyboards and sandy gear. On rainy days you shouldn’t feel too much on top of each other – there’s space to spread out and plenty of books, toys and games for children. There are also castles to visit and boat trips to join.

This is my second visit to this property and it is still as attractive and welcoming as the first time - 5 years ago. The apartment is light, airy and very comfortable with a real sun trap of a patio space, where we spent a lot time - eating, reading and relaxing with a glass of wine. It is a short walk to the beach and into town, which has lovely independent shops, bars and cafes. Molly is always available if you have any questions during the stay and nothing is too much trouble. We will definitely be back at some point in the future.

We loved our stay in this apartment and it was so well positioned to explore the gorgeous (and hip) town of Deal, the sea front (just cross the road) and nearby attractions. We hired bikes, shopped and had supper on the beach in front of the Zetland Arms pub. It was the perfect getaway. The apartment is beautifully maintained with a sun trap garden at the back - extremely comfortable beds, crisp fresh linen, brilliant showers and a bathroom for every bedroom! The kitchen is also clean and has everything you need (or a BBQ outside). Parking for free right outside was also a bonus..Will be back!

Location
The neighbourhood
Deal is a thriving little town with good independent shops. The pier has an excellent new restaurant/cafe at the end of it specialising in brunches; fun to eat here whatever the weather as you're surrounded by sea and with a grand view back towards the town. Wander in on a Saturday for the bustling market. You're so close to France you can see the coast on a clear day.
Local points of interest from Molly Bradley
- Deal's beach has been ranked number one in the Telegraph's "ten top spots to lay your beach towel". We couldn't agree more and its right outside!
- Great fishing, and if you're not lucky the local fish and chip shop will deliver straight to the beach!
- Deal's Saturday Market has a lovely mix of fresh local produce, antiques, flowers, gifts and a wide range of delicious food stalls to try and choose between, it even boasts its own al fresco wine bar.
- Deal has won 'High Street of the Year', and hosts an abundance of cafes, bars and and restaurants as well as masses of lovely independent shops all within walking distance.
- A number of English heritage sites nearby, including two 16th Century castles just a sea side stroll away.
- 3.5 Miles to the British Golf Open course at Royal St Georges.

Introducing
Molly Bradley
Molly, charming, bright and smiley, lives nearby with her husband Angus and family. There's a key pad to let yourself in and Molly leaves lots of information about all things local, where to eat and where to walk.
A wonderful place to stay. We loved it so much last time, we came back for more!! This gorgeous apartment really does have everything you need and is situated in a perfect location. The beach is literally across the road and it is incredibly easy to get in to the town centre or go for a lovely walk down the promenade to the pier and along to the castle. There are a few lovely bars and restaurants located within a 10 minute walk of the property. Molly (the owner) goes out of her way to make everything about the stay feel easy and relaxed ...We will definitely be back again! Thanks Molly
