49 The Marina

My partner and I stayed at #49 The Marina from April 14 to 18, 2024. Nine years ago, we had rented it for 5 weeks, and were so impressed by that experience that when we found it available for just the few days we were to be in Deal, we “grabbed it”! We were just as enchanted when we arrived for our second visit...During our four-day visit the lavender sprouted and the wisteria began blooming on the back patio, and I wished I could stay longer simply to rest and rejuvenate.

We are a group of 4 women over 60 and this was our 3rd stay at this perfect apartment, directly opposite the sea. The 3 bedrooms are incredibly spacious with wonderfully comfortable beds. Everything was, as always, spotlessly clean. We enjoy long walks, some retail therapy and cosy evenings cooking, eating and drinking together. This apartment has the perfect space for just that. We will definitely be returning.

Our second visit to 49 The Marina. It is an ideal base from which to explore Kent. Extremely comfortable, clean and well equipped. So lovely to see that some of the original features of the property have been kept. Nothing is too much trouble for host Molly. Always quick to respond to any questions or queries. She is very knowledgeable about the area, which is a great help if you have never visited this part of the country before. A truly beautiful place to stay.

This is the kind of place held in high esteem by travelers who have been fortunate enough to have stayed at other unique abodes of comparable excellence elsewhere on the planet . . .
