The Experience
A wonderfully unspoilt place for a bucket-and-spade holiday, and terrific value too. A few steps lead down to a cheerful apartment on the ground floor of a Victorian seafront home with its own private entrance. The friendly owners and family are on hand should you need anything.
It’s all on one level so really easy for families with little ones, and you’ll find absolutely everything you might need, from cots and highchairs to changing mats and plastic plates. You’re across the road from the beach so pack up all your stuff and spend the day having watery fun or walk 10 minutes to the high street (pubs, shops) and the pier where you’ll find gourmet food.
A small courtyard back garden is yours (perfect for a barbecue on sunny evenings) and there’s a useful covered area by the front door for stowing wetsuits, bodyboards and sandy gear. On rainy days you shouldn’t feel too much on top of each other – there’s space to spread out and plenty of books, toys and games for children. There are also castles to visit and boat trips to join.

One of the best places we’ve ever booked for a holiday..Bedrooms are really spacious with luxurious bedding and towels. The accommodation was perfect for three couples...The apartment is beautifully equipped with just about everything you need - including things for the beach, dvds, music, games and for cooking. But one of the loveliest things was to have everything we needed essentially on the doorstep -the beach across the road, pubs within 5 minutes, and a 10/15 minute walk into town. We absolutely fell in love with Deal. Molly was a lovely host ...We will definitely be back.

We had a great stay at Molly's place. The flat has an excellent location on the sea front, a brisk 5-10 minute stroll along from the pier. We found parking outside on the street easy and plentiful. The flat itself is warm, light and spacious, with great facilities and a really well equipped kitchen. Beds are comfortable. There is a small enclosed patio area with a table, chairs and a BBQ... Molly and Angus are friendly, helpful and responsive... All in all, it feels like a special place to stay, and Deal is a lovely town. Recommended without hesitation and we hope to return one day.

Absolutely beautiful place to stay for our 3 weeks. We were made to feel very welcome by our hosts and the apartment had a lovely homely feel to it. Beautifully decorated and stocked with every item you could ever need in the kitchen, plus board games, and even inflatables for the beach. We entertained a few times in the lovely sunny courtyard which has a lot bigger feel to it than in the photos.... The apartment was an absolutely lovely place to stay and we really can't rate it high enough. It was excellent. We hope to return when we visit my parents again. Thanks again Molly.

Location
The neighbourhood
Deal is a thriving little town with good independent shops. The pier has an excellent new restaurant/cafe at the end of it specialising in brunches; fun to eat here whatever the weather as you're surrounded by sea and with a grand view back towards the town. Wander in on a Saturday for the bustling market. You're so close to France you can see the coast on a clear day.
Local points of interest from Molly Bradley
- Deal's beach has been ranked number one in the Telegraph's "ten top spots to lay your beach towel". We couldn't agree more and its right outside!
- Great fishing, and if you're not lucky the local fish and chip shop will deliver straight to the beach!
- Deal's Saturday Market has a lovely mix of fresh local produce, antiques, flowers, gifts and a wide range of delicious food stalls to try and choose between, it even boasts its own al fresco wine bar.
- Deal has won 'High Street of the Year', and hosts an abundance of cafes, bars and and restaurants as well as masses of lovely independent shops all within walking distance.
- A number of English heritage sites nearby, including two 16th Century castles just a sea side stroll away.
- 3.5 Miles to the British Golf Open course at Royal St Georges.

Introducing
Molly Bradley
Molly, charming, bright and smiley, lives nearby with her husband Angus and family. There's a key pad to let yourself in and Molly leaves lots of information about all things local, where to eat and where to walk.
Large, clean, comfortable & spacious. This apartment had everything we wanted and needed. The beds were very comfy which isn't always the case at holiday homes, the bedrooms are huge and bright. The kitchen was well equipped and there is a small sun trap patio outside. The whole apartment is tastefully decorated and you can lie in bed at night and hear the sea from the front bedrooms. The main shops are a flat 10 minute walk away either along the seafront or winding through the old lanes. Parking is on street but we found a space without any difficulty. We would highly recommend this apartment
