May Lodge

May Cottage was a delightful place to stay - beautifully and tastefully designed and furnished and well equipped. We were welcomed with a gorgeous arrangement of flowers from the garden, a handwritten card and tasty food and drink. All the people we met - owners and staff - were friendly and helpful and we loved being able to wander freely in the grounds outside opening hours.

Talk about leaving the best until last... what a fantastic stay! May Lodge is quite simply gorgeous with every detail carefully considered. For my husband, the biggest treat was the bedroom on the ground floor meaning he didn't have to carry suitcases upstairs. For me, it was the garden. Being able to wander the garden and the paths was priceless. As for the welcome pack: best ever ... and a great introduction to some local producers.

A truly wonderful few days staying in the elegant and lovely May Lodge in the Easton Walled Gardens. A beautiful 1 bedroom, 2 person historic lodge within the rural Easton estate, opposite the Courtyard and only a few steps from the beautiful Walled Gardens. The Courtyard has a cafe and a couple of shops. All the Easton team we encountered were exceptionally friendly and welcoming. We particularly treasured having out of hours free access to the restored Walled Gardens when the visitors had gone home. Cottage very dog friendly too. Highly recommend.

We had a lovely stay - the cottage was beautifully decorated, small but perfectly formed! So much thought has gone into the layout and storage. It was very peaceful. We cooked dinner one evening and had everything we needed. We loved the gardens first thing in the morning.
