The Gatehouse Lodge

We had a fantastic stay in the Gatehouse Lodge. It is a truly special place, not least because of access to the beautiful gardens - literally out of the garden gate from the lodge into the really well maintained grounds. Got to know the gardeners quite well and the family are very much hands on!! The lodge itself is very well equipped and characterful but really, the best bit has to be sitting in the lodge garden while visitors come to see Easton Gardens - I really felt like the lady of the manor for a few days!! Would go back like a shot!!

Our whole visit was simply magical. The Gatehouse Lodge is an extremely comfortable, beautifully designed and presented property. We were touched by the personal nature of our welcome and generous welcome package. The opportunity to free range over the incredible gardens and to have our dog with us, was also very special. The Staff were a delight, well informed and genuinely interested in us. Sir Fred should take great pride in the way they represented him and the business. We would, and have, recommended a stay there to our friends.

We had a wonderful stay at the Gatehouse Lodge, Easton Walled Gardens. We were looking for somewhere special to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and it certainly delivered. The Lodge itself has been beautifully done up; the bedroom and bathroom are very spacious and the kitchen, living area and 'library', although small, are so well designed that they feel deliciously cosy not cramped. We enjoyed the fire on the cooler evenings of our stay and the patio garden on the unexpectedly hot days of our visit as well as, obviously, the freedom to roam the beautiful gardens alone.

We much enjoyed our stay at The Gatehouse last Easter, which we found advertised in the RHS magazine. The property was snug and warm (if a little quirky!) and well equipped for 2 people, plus one dog. Both our hosts and the staff at Easton were very welcoming and helpful. Lots to do and see, stately homes, gardens and The City of Lincoln well worth a visit. Good local eateries, including an excellent on-site café. We would definitely recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing break.

Lovely welcome, as always, at Easton, & The Gatehouse Lodge. Incredibly comfortable, beautifully furnished, & a great place to escape to! Enjoyed my birthday here, with access to the lovely gardens. Highly recommended.
