The Hall

Our weekend stay at Bucknell was an absolute delight! From Friday to Sunday, the hosts showered us with invaluable local tips and served up the most amazing breakfast spread each morning. Freshly baked cookies greeted us daily, adding to the charm of this hidden gem in bucknell. The cozy accommodations were spotlessly clean and incredibly comfortable. Massive thanks to the hosts for their hospitality. This stay was for sure one of our top destinations and I highly recommend it to anyone considering a visit!

We stayed here in March 2023. Located in a lovely little village and the directions were quite straight forward to follow. Upon arrival, Matt greeted us and gave us an overview of the facilities and how to access the room. The room was in immaculate condition, the bathroom deserves a special mention! Tea and coffee were present in addition to some local guides and home made cakes in a little box which was a nice touch. The breakfast was very tasty with cooked or cereal/bread options with locally sourced products. Our hosts were very welcoming and we could not recommend this highly enough!

Perfect peaceful & relaxing stay. Welcoming & friendly hosts. The accommodation was first class with thoughtful quality touches throughout. The home-made treats & breakfast were excellent. We will return without a doubt.

We spent a night at the Hall and hugely enjoyed it. The owners have so constructed it all that you can consider yourself almost ‘self-contained’, but with no sitting room etc. You ‘go through’ to breakfast the next morning and eat in splendid style. The décor is modern, surprisingly and engagingly so, and the main house is full of brave dark colours and interesting features. We’d gladly go again.
