Hop Pickers' House

Beautiful spot, exceptionally clean property, really well equipped and tastefully furnished. Really useful information and instructions beforehand. Perfect for a peaceful, romantic and relaxing escape!

We had a wonderful week at Hop Pickers’ Cottage. The cottage itself was so comfortable and well-equipped and the gardens / grounds are beautifully peaceful and dog-friendly. We are already planning our next stay - no higher recommendation!

A really lovely place to stay, deeply rural, private and with access to a pretty garden and plenty of land to take the dog. The house is stunning, a very cosy downstairs with fully equipped kitchen and upstairs the most beautiful room with an ancient roof. A place to contemplate the skill of builders several hundred years ago. Altogether difficult to fault and the host charming. Would love to visit again in the summer.

I booked as part of my partner’s Birthday surprise, and it turned out to be a great choice. Stephen and Steven were really accommodating and allowed me to visit the property in advance so I could hide presents in the garden. The house itself was spotless, with everything we could have needed for our 3 night stay, warm, cosy, a comfortable bed and a basket of logs ready to go. The area is beautiful with country walks from the doorstep. The little home made treats were a delight, and we were horrified when we realised we had checked out and left a biscuit behind! Just book it!

We and two dogs loved it. We stayed a week and will go back. The marmalade, jam and apple juice are VG too.
