Applegarth House

We stayed at Applegarth on our outward and return journey to Mull. Hospitality was of the highest standard and everything possible was done to ensure our stay was comfortable. We really appreciated the addition of delicious evening meal after a long journey .Kirsteen and Andrew were thoughtful , friendly and entertaining hosts . We would , without hesitation make a return visit .

From the moment we arrived we loved it. Kirsteen and Andrew greeted us like old friends and two days later we felt we actually were! The house is serene and the garden is beautiful. Fresh flowers in every room, most comfortable bed ever and very nice bathroom treats! We had two delicious dinners with excellent wine - they made us a lovely supper despite arriving late at 10pm and bought us our favourite wine the second night. We felt utterly at home, treated like royalty, and had huge fun to boot. Fantastic place to stay for r and r and with beautiful Dumfries and Galloway all around.

Kirsteen and Andy have thought of everything to make the stay super comfy. From pretty rooms to huge selection of teas and a little basket of essentials that you might have forgotten to pack. Many 5 star hotels round the world could learn a few tips here. Regretting we didn’t stay longer as so much to see in the area.
