Atelier Hay

We’ve had a wonderful stay in your charming house, thank you! You may well see us or friends again .... The drive, or walk, in the Black Mountains between Pandy and Hay was amazing. We had a delicious meal in the Felin Fach Griffin and a Chinese take away from next door (order well in advance, it’s very popular!) What a lovely place to visit.

Thank you for a wonderful stay in this beautiful house. We loved our stay in Hay. Thanks for the recommendation of canoeing back from Glasbury - a lovely stretch of river. We hope to come back during the festival one year, and will recommend Atelier Hay to anyone else who is coming to stay in this area.

As a first visit to Hay-on-Wye we couldn’t have chosen a better place to stay. On entering Atelier we were met with creativity, light and a feeling that here we would be able to relax. And we were right. Superb attention to detail with an eclectic assortment of furnishings. Location within the town was flawless with galleries, deli, cafes, bookshops, antique shops and cinema (it goes on!) on your doorstep ...the town is peaceful which is surprising with so much on offer. We were somewhat smitten ~ an enchanting place to stay.

What a find! A very elegant apartment filled with beautiful art, the morning sun shines through large Georgian windows, lovely views of historic Hay and its winding streets, a relaxing light bright and open space. Comfy and cosy, a large, p discretely placed, TV for Netflix TV, top notch cooking facilities, lovely China. Perfectly located above an art gallery, Richard Booths bookshop (restaurant and cinema), close to the Delicatessen (for great almond croissants) so one can amble out and back at leisure (with the Sunday papers). The River Wye for walking and fishing. Just bliss!
