Le Manoir du Val Riant

During a long trip to France last April, my partner and I carefully and meticulously searched for charming places to stay among relais manoirs and chateaus that could make our vacation even more fascinating. We were guests of incredible establishments, but one in particular remained in our hearts and souls: Le Manoir du Val Riant. The establishment, already beautiful in itself, is made even more delightful by the care and elegance of the details, the exclusive work of the enchanting Verginie (also an excellent Chef) who, together with her husband Thibaut, made our stay unforgettable.

A wonderfully romantic setting in an outdoor country house with beautiful flowers (heavy charm). What a lovely dining room in the army. I have some gluten in my heart, fantastic food with good gluten bread. The top point of this restaurant was that it was ready for a restaurant where there was also good gluten food in this area, which is now also available. The hatch never opens in the gastvrouw bood aan voor ons te koken. En dito was a fantastic treat. I'm grateful for the good news and we'll give it back.

Virginie and Thibault were terrific hosts and very friendly. Lovely grounds. Our evening meal and breakfast were both delicious and beautifully presented. Certainly strongly recommended.

Virginie and Thibaut are charming hosts and the Manor, cottage and grounds are a hidden gem. The breakfasts were exceptional and the evening meal cooked by Virginie, using produce from their lovely garden was delicious. We had a fabulous stay in the Cottage; it has been beautifully and sympathetically renovated. The wood burner, delicious sharing platter and Netflix (set up by Thibaut) allowed us to have a cosy evening in. We really couldn’t have wished for more and would love to return.
