A wonderful place in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by open arable fields & views as far as the eye could see. Delicious four course meal with wine, eaten under the stars in Lee’s sweet garden. Late night chat with Lee & her very interesting guests & friends. A special corner of France.

Nice and atmospheric stay in a rural environment. Warm and personal contact with the owner. Excellent vegetarian meals served in the garden. Eating at sunset. Perfect!

There is only one word for our stay with Lee - exquisite! From the delicious home cooked dinner that even our fussy children devoured, to the peace and tranquility of the setting, the super-clean pool to keep you cool, the rooms so beautifully put together. We spent wonderful days at the Auberge de la Tuilerie.Lee is a very charming lady and we appreciated her cooking skills which you can compare with the best restaurant. In the evening you can dine in a beautiful sunny garden with an impressive view of the sunset. The surroundings are beautiful, quiet and the area invites you to walk for hours. Highly recommended, a jewel in the Burgundy region!

Lee is not only a very warm host who can express herself perfectly in French and English - she is also an amazing cook. We had the best and most refined dinner of our trip, lots of wine and too much cheese included ;) Auberge de la Tuilerie offers a cosy and authentic room. After passing by Lee's vegetable garden you can dive right into the pool (which is large enough to actually swim). The view in the front garden is priceless (highlight: sunset) - making it extra hard to leave.
