A L'Aube Bleue

A great value, quirky stay - exactly what we were looking for on our drive through Champagne - good, tasty food too - thanks Christine

What a great find! Driving down to our home in the south we decided to spend a day exploring the area between Troyes and Dijon. This lovely chambre d’hôte was perfectly situated. The house and garden are quirky and delightful. Our room was lovely - a good size for 2. We arrived after a long drive and Madame told us of a couple of walks around the village which were exactly what we needed. Dinner was excellent. We’re vegetarians and every course was delicious, most using local ingredients. We’ll definitely stay here again - it’s equally good as an overnight stop as it’s close to the motorway.

We loved everything about L'Aube Bleu. Christine and her husband (apologies, I forget his name!) were welcoming and friendly, whilst discreetly leaving us to our drinks on arrival and then breakfast in the morning (wonderful and plentiful!). The house is comfortable, clean and full of the most amazing array of things, some of which are for sale. We will definitely stay if going that way again.

what a lovely experience we had two evening meals which were beyond belief. we would highly recommend this venue for friendly atmosphere and for local places to visit we hope to stay again when next in France.

We have stayed here many times. Always a warm welcome , spotless room. Christine's food is always fantastic. Evening meals very very tasty. Breakfasts are amazing, with home made yogurts, jams , and the most beautiful freshly squeezed Orange juice. We look forward to our next stay next year. Thank you Christine. Bill and Ann Sisson
