The Experience
This elegant B&B is set across four buildings, with the oldest thought to date back to the 18th century. You’ll receive a welcome from Ryan and Agnes, who will offer you a glass of champagne in the spacious kitchen before showing you to your room.
All rooms have seating areas and views of the front courtyard or vineyards. Relax in the garden or head down to the atmospheric wine cellar; you can also curl up in the reading nook in the Petit Salon or watch TV and play board games in the Grand Salon.
Enjoy breakfasts of baguettes, pastries, yogurt parfait, cold cuts and cheeses, or perhaps French toast with fresh fruit. Stay in for table d’hôte dinners of typically French-style cuisine or stroll into Ay which has a few restaurants and is home to many of the big champagne houses. Épernay, five minutes away, has dozens of restaurants and shops as well as the famous Avenue de Champagne.

Introducing
Ryan & Agnes Hesser
Ryan and Agnes are both the owners and the main contacts for guests. Ryan is from Chicago and Agnes grew up in Poland but moved to America when she was 21. They fell in love with the area's vineyards and picturesque villages, and moved here in 2021 without speaking any French. Ryan's background is in finance but he also worked in hospitality, while Agnes also worked in hotel design.
Recently opened ‘Maison de Deux Mains’ was a delight. A beautiful restoration of a traditional house with the upmost attention to detail - a delightful find for Bed & Breakfast (as well as optional Table d'hôte on certain evenings) in a perfect location. 5 star touches throughout from the super soft towels and robes in the room, an elegant breakfast, siting rooms to use, to the more social welcome glass of champagne. Highly recommend the Table d’hôte - an amazing five course dinner with champagne. Ryan and Agnes go out of their way to make guests feel welcome.
