La Rougeanne

What a gem of a place. Monique is the perfect host - nothing is too much trouble for her. She goes out of her way to ensure you have everything you need to make the most of your stay in this beautiful region. We enjoyed superb breakfasts under the shade of the pomegranate trees by the infinity pool every morning. Monique offers delicious homemade meals with wine etc. if you wish to stay around - or will make a reservation at a local restaurant for you. Our room was just lovely - cleaned and bed made every day - clean towels every other day. We loved it and will most certainly be back.

We stayed at Monique’s for 2 nights and had a wonderful time. We enjoyed one of Monique’s light suppers which was superb and very reasonably priced. Breakfast in the orangery idyllic. Go earlier in the season and use the beautiful pool! Perfect place. Merci Monique

My wife and I stayed booked in last minute for three nights with our two and a half year old this summer and had a fantastic stay. We were blown away by the hospitality that Monique showed us. We had some troubles with our vehicle which we had to resolve during our stay and she did her very best to help us in every way possible (ferrying us to the local town for dinner, arranging transport to Carcassone etc). The property itself is beautiful as is the area - a proper southern French experience but without the volume of tourists in Provence. We will return - thanks for everything Monique!

We loved this beautifully restored estate with its large grounds and secure parking, elegantly decorated interiors, delicious breakfasts and charming hosts. We would return in a heartbeat!

I fully recommend this place in terms of the quality of the accommodation and facilities offered as well as the friendliness and helpfulness of the owners. It is in a village which is well-placed for access to various activities and sites of historical interest.

Great stay in this lovely elegant house. Splendid views, fine pool, and our hosts prepared a special birthday dinner. Very French and we shall definitely go again

Such a beautiful place. The host were wonderful, helpful and friendly. The rooms were amazing as are the grounds...infinity pool and gardens! A quiet village and great starting point for drives around the countryside with plenty of beautiful villages and town to explore. Couldnt recommend more highly! Rohan & Milly
