Domaine Cadignac

You could not wish for more in a holiday accommodation. Everything about this place is perfect - the warm welcome by the hosts, the beautifully designed and furnished gite, the very special location and brilliant views over vineyards, forest and softly rolling hills, the helpful recommendations from Esther and Leonard. We only have one regret - and that is that we didn’t stay long enough.

Esther and Leonard are simply the best hosts imaginable. They greet and treat their quests in a warm and caring manner while providing two finely appointed French country-style gites in a lovely old former winery all nestled in a broad landscape of working vineyards stretching across broad valleys and up gentle hillsides. And don't forget the gorgeous swimming pool overlooking the valley of vineyards! They are conveniently located near many small villages, bustling market towns, and a few larger cities such as Uzes and Orange with stylish shops, variety of restaurants, large weekly markets.

This past October in 2023 we enjoyed our first stay at Domaine Cadignac and it was a delightful experience in every way. Our gite was comfortable and decorated with fabulous taste, set up with everything we needed to make a meal and relax in the large living room or sit on our balcony overlooking a spectacular view of the fields and mountains in the distance. A perfect place to see the sun rise and set with amazing star gazing at night. The surrounding area is quiet and peaceful with beautiful countryside and villages. Esther and Leo are fabulous hosts to guide you on great day trips.

Domaine Cadignac is a lovely place with beautiful scenery. The apartments or ‘gites’ are fully equiped and nicely decorated. We made some beautiful walks through the forest and vineyards. Uzes, Avigon are nearby and give you the total south of France experience! Esther and Leonard are very hospitable and always prepared to give tips on where to go and where to eat! We certainly will come back to Domaine Cadignac!
