This is a charming place hidden away behind unostentatious house fronts in the village of Laurens. But behind is a lovely garden full of flowers and a secluded swimming pool and shaded kitchen/sitting area. This is a wonderfully relaxing place to be. Wendy and Derek are lovely hosts and think of everything you might need - a phone charger with multiple sockets, a UK adapter (if you've forgotten yours) and a great selection of books and guides. Wendy can prepare an ample and delicious breakfast if you want it. We want to go back.

Wendy and Derek are simply the best! We came very last minute after 10pm on a Sunday night because our Airbnb host bailed on us and they did everything to be able to host us that night. They were above charming with us! The house is simply beautiful, very comfortable, everything has been carefully thought off and made to ensure a perfect stay! From the beautiful and large pool with a picnic set to the bottle of wine in the parental suite: everything was perfection! Thank you again so much!!! Lucie, Thomas, Beranger & Ophélie

BLISSFUL. We arrived Sunday and the local restaurant was closed, Wendy and Derek kindly cooked us a dinner after our long journey in there wonderful garden with candles and lights. Spent two weeks and left feeling amazing, such a pretty place, relaxing around the pool. Walk to bakery and restaurant. Wendy and Derek are so helpful and knowledgeable of the area and recommended excellent places to visit. Wendy makes an excellent Gin and Tonic! Was a fabulous two weeks and excellent hosts.

Beautiful home in peaceful setting with excellent hosts. Very comfortable en-suite room. Ideal for a relaxing winter or summer break.
