Château Ribagnac

We spent a very pleasant two days at Chateau Ribagnac. Patrick and Colette are wonderful hosts and create a warm, relaxing atmosphere. Sharing the lovely table d'hôte evening meals with other guests was a delight. A great place to spend a few days away from Paris, relax with good food and interesting conversation! Highly recommended. Thank you!

We had a wonderful 9 days at the Chateau with our 9 and 6 year old. The kids loved the pool and the freedom to run around the beautiful grounds discovering nature. We loved the setting, the history, the company and the food! We had such a relaxing time and Patrick and Collette are excellent hosts. The food that Collette cooked for us and the kids was superb and everything was so well thought out, from the table settings to the pre-dinner aperitif. Gorgeous spacious rooms and super comfy beds and all immaculately clean. So much to discover in the region and we can’t wait to come back.

A wonderful place to stay especially if en route South as we were. Patrick and Collette were charming, relaxed and fantastic hosts. Collette is a superb cook and served a delicious supper with Patrick’s well chosen wines - we were sadly only there for 2 nights. Wonderful lake to swim in , together with pool and wonderful walks around. Very comfy beds too. Definitely would stay again and recommend highly.

Absolutely stunning in every way, worth every Euro. Highly recommended and on the list for a return, like other guests have done. Delicious food served around the table and a good way to meet other guests and hear their stories and recommendations of places to visit nearby. The market on a Sunday is well worth a visit too.

We had two most memorable nights in this lovely chateau and would love to return some day. Our extraordinary beamed suite was comfortable, charming and amply provided with quirky objets d'art and fittings which included a loo in the tower. Our hosts cooked wonderful, generous dinners on both the nights we stayed and it was a real pleasure to talk with them and the other guests as we sat around the table. Our only thought was that guests over 6 foot tall might wish to ask for a suite on the first floor where ceilings are no doubt higher! Entry to the loo was via a doorway about 5 foot high!
