We had a short, but wonderful stay. A warm welcome, a quite diner in the pretty garden and a delightful breakfast in the kitchen with open fire! The house is a jewel, the rooms beautiful and full of antiques. And the owners have a great sense of hospitality: they are thoughtful, open minded, with a sense of humour and interest for history and arts. We will come back.

This former farm building still feels authentically rural. Character oozes out of every corner. Frederick and Nicholas create genuine home comforts from local resources helping guests to relax away from the stresses of life whilst offering top quality WIFI. They are fine hosts who enjoy sharing their time with you. The feeling was reciprocated. Superb value for money and more accessible than you think

We only had a 2 night stay at the 3 Officiers, but what a wonderful place it was! We had such a lovely welcome from Frederick. There was an instant sense of calm the minute we were through the door. Breakfast was just delightful - from homemade lemon cake to 'pain perdu'! Delicious! All the rooms were beautifully decorated. Nothing was too much trouble - our host gave us information about the local area and even booked a restaurant for us! We would have loved to have stayed longer and plan to re-visit when we get the opportunity. Thank you Frederick and yet another Sawday's success for us!

A stunning building bursting with antiques and curios set in a magical garden. The rooms are incredibly comfortable and beautifully decorated with style and panache. We loved Frederick the host who makes the most delicious French breakfast which included home made jam, organic muesli, home made yoghurt, mirabelle plum compote and French toast. We cannot recommend this place highly enough, we will definitely return.

From the moment you arrive Frederick ensures that your stay is a very special one. You are made to feel very much apart of the house and every detail ensures you feel cared and looked after although never over the top. From our welcome drink to our parting gift of homemade chocolate macaroons (absolutely delicious) we enjoyed all aspects of our stay. The highlights are however in Frederick's passions of cooking and antiques as the house is beautifully furnished. The food and drink was exceptional reflecting the local region. The breakfast was incredible - a real treat. We will be back!
