Les Granges de Saint Pierre

It's hard to do justice to our enchanting stay in Les Granges, a beautifully converted barn with a charming terrace overlooking Josiane's garden. Les Granges is perfectly cared for with beautiful furniture and furnishings without feeling at all precious. The house is located quietly at the edge of the lovely village and a short stroll from a classic boulangerie. However what was most memorable was Josiane's warm and gracious attention from our first email contact, on our arrival and throughout our stay. She could not have been kinder.

Les Granges is a gem of a property. The barn is wonderfully renovated, with comfortable bedrooms, a beautiful sun terrace and a fantastic kitchen. As we were staying with our baby, we also made good use of the excellent utility room! The location at the foot of Simiane was ideal and we spent our days popping out to the (excellent) local bakery and epicerie, visiting villages in nearby Luberon and various Provencal markets, and swimming in the pool. Josiane was wonderful and warm, and full of advice for what to do in the local area and beyond. We hope to come and stay again

A beautiful comfortable property that feels like a real home, spacious, welcoming and well équipt with everything one could possibly need. The fresh water swimming pool is fantastic, one of the best we've seen in a private home. We ate well in nearby Banon and visited local markets in Forcalquier and Sault. The weather end May was perfect with no Mosquitos, thanks apparently to the giant carp in a large ornamental pond in Josiane's garden, which is next to the property. We would love to return.

A dream of a Gite in a small hilltop village. Only steps from the door lies The Capeau Rouger Restaurant, and the Boulangerie/coffee shop where visiters and locals sit with their coffee and pain raison in the morning sunshine. The star of the stay was Josiane the gentile lady owner, who was a superb hostess, plus the housekeeper who came in to ensure everything was clean and tidy. Must not forget the fabulous spring water pool set in a private part of the garden..and the hot roof terrace..and I could go on it's a perfect holiday location.
