The Experience
Good food is at the heart of everything here: start your days with homemade and local savouries, eggs and bacon, locally cured meats and cheeses; Sicilian bread made with re-milled semolina; marmalades made from their own lemons, oranges and mandarins; organic pecans from their trees and home-baked tarts, cookies and cakes. Have a light lunch from the poolside kiosk, and in the evenings you can enjoy the freshest fish and other family recipes prepared by their chef and accompanied by fine wines.
Spend lazy days by the pool, play ping-pong, borrow bikes, let the children play in their own special area, or tackle the bowling green. Simple interiors reflect the local style and have high ceilings, wooden beams and ceramic floors. The breakfast room is a shared living space but you have your own private outdoor area.
Rooms all overlook the gardens, traditional and serene with plenty of birdsong.

Location
The neighbourhood
You're just 500 metres from the coast and less than 1km from the small port of Riposto with the eastern slopes of Mount Etna standing behind and the Ionian Sea in front. Here you'll find some good wine bars and restaurants, a daily fish market and bustling marina. Taormina is a half-hour drive, Mount Etna about 45 minutes (book a super tour) and Catania one hour for the airport.
Local points of interest from Emanuela Busa
- Located about 35 minutes from Riposto, Taormina is an unmissable destination. The Ancient Theatre, originally Greek and later expanded by the Romans, is one of the most impressive archaeological sites in Europe.
- At the foot of Taormina lies Isola Bella, a small island connected to the mainland by a narrow strip of sand and pebbles. It is a protected natural reserve, famous for its crystal-clear waters, ideal for swimming, snorkelling, and relaxing by the sea.
- About one hour from Riposto, Rifugio Sapienza is the main gateway to Mount Etna, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you will reach an altitude of over 1,900 meters, surrounded by lava flows, extinct craters, and lunar landscapes.
- Located about 45 minutes from Riposto, the Alcantara Gorges are a true natural masterpiece. Towering basalt walls sculpted by the river over thousands of years create a dramatic and unique landscape.
- The Marina of Riposto is one of the most modern tourist ports in eastern Sicily. It is the perfect place for a relaxing stroll among sailing boats and yachts, with views of both Mount Etna and the Ionian Sea.
- Kentie Park is a small but well-maintained green area, ideal for those seeking a quiet break after more adventurous excursions. It features Mediterranean and tropical plants and is especially appreciated by families and nature lovers.
