The Experience

Come for deep peace and much cossetting. A large lounge with a bar has cosy seating areas, rich, detailed furnishings and gorgeous ceramics created by renowned artisans. From here it’s a short glide to the breakfast room with its pretty outdoor pergola. Feast on local delicacies homemade by Grandma Clara with zero-kilometre ingredients. Light lunches are served in the restaurant, as well as dinner, cooked by the chef.

Rooms and suites spread out over the ground and first floors, some with private terraces, all with elegant antiques, vibrant art and very swish en suite bathrooms – Acqua Dei natural bath products and pool towels included. The gardens are stunning – the Park of the Soul, where nature, art and memory tell the story of ancient seeds.

Every Tuesday they host a ‘social table’, a convivial experience featuring tastings of different types of pizza from the master baker. You’re near to Noto for marvelling at the architecture.

The neighbourhood

You're just 7km from the history and culture of Noto, there's a regular bus service to and fro. Cookery courses are held at the hotel, there's a small gym and sauna, you can enjoy artisan workshops, excursions, food and wine tours, or have a picnic in the Park of the Soul. You're near to the beaches of Vendicari - a nature reserve with crystal clear, uncontaminated waters.
